Lillehammer
is located at the northern shore of Norway’s largest lake, Mjøsa.
The town is 190 km north of Oslo, and the distance from Gardermoen,
Norway’s main airport, is 150 km. By all standards, Lillehammer
today comes across as a modern town. Still it has been awarded for
its architecture and for preserving original buildings in the town
centre

tickets for Handball Euro 2008 at Lillehammer, Norway |
The tickets for euro 2008 will be on
sale as of Tuesday 25 September 2007 from 09:00 CET. Tickets are valid
for all matches played in one hall during one day. During the group
matches there will be two games per day. In the main round you will
be able to watch three matches a day with the same ticket.
The
ticket prices will cost from 150 to 500 Krones in the group stage,
and from 200 to 700 Krones in the main round.
For the finals in Håkons
Hall, Lillehammer, the the tickets will cost 250 to 1.200 Krones. (1
EUR = 8 Norwegian Krones)

| Transportation
to Lillehammer |
Travelling
to the Lillehammer area is easy. The town is located right off the E-6
highway which is the major travel artery from southern to northern Norway.
By car, Lillehammer only two hours from Oslo, four hours from Trondheim
and five hours from Ålesund. If you are arriving by plane, just
take the bus or train from the Oslo International Airport Gardermoen
to Lillehammer. When in the town, buses leave about every 30 minutes
to most of the local attractions in the area, and there are frequent
train departures to both Oslo and Trondheim.

| Finals
at Håkons Hall, Handball Euro EM 2008, Lillehammer |
Håkons
Hall is the arena of a wide variety of events, such as sporting events,
conferences, kick-offs, exibitions and concerts. It was finished 1. February
1993. During the Olympic wintergames, Håkons Hall was the main arena
for ice hockey, and it was also used during the Paralymics and for the
World Championship finals in handball for women in 1999.
