An excursion with a dog team is a special and wonderful experience. Two persons get their own dog team and have the responsibility of taking on and off the harness and place the dogs in front of the sled (accurate instruction is a matter of course). We drive off into the wonderful landscape. Halfway through the trip the two persons change places, so that the one sitting in the sledge from the start now gets to steer the dog sled.

Every week through the winter from January. The Lavvo (tent) is open and you can buy hot beverage for Nok 25.-

Dog sled driving can be ordered other days, min 10 pers. (nok 4000.-) If groups order dog sled driving without food/bev, the lavvo will not be opened.

Prices dog sled driving on Thursdays:
2007 / 2008

5 km round  (40 min.) NOK 500,-
10 km round (1 hour) NOK 850,-
30 km round (3 hrs. incl. lunch & drink) NOK 1250,-

On 1 and 2 days trips each participant gets his own sledge with 5 dogs. If you want more than 2 days, this is of course possible.

We recommend children only for the short trips. It is strenuous and it can be cold.
